Clinical Trials
More than 150 clinical trials using the activPAL as an outcome measure are registered on clinical trials databases with the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s clinical trials database and the ISRCTN registry.
The ClinicalTrials.gov database is hosted by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and is a database of privately and publicly funded clinical studies conducted around the world.
The ISRCTN registry is hosted by BMC. It is a primary clinical trial registry recognised by WHO and ICMJE that accepts all clinical research studies (whether proposed, ongoing or completed), providing content validation and curation and the unique identification number necessary for publication. All study records in the database are freely accessible and searchable.
